IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT VACCINATIONS
All dogs must be fully vaccinated and this must also include kennel cough. Kennel cough is not included in your dog’s normal annual boosters, it is a separate vaccine and is administered up the dog’s nostrils. Once vaccinated for kennel cough your dog will be covered for 12 months and then will need another booster. This vaccination is best given at least 2 weeks before boarding.
Your dog must be fully vaccinated for the whole of their stay at Woodland View Kennels. If the vaccination is due to expire whilst the dog is boarded here then you will need to book the dog in for their boosters before their stay.
Please be aware that puppies which have had their first vaccinations, or adult dogs which are restarting their vaccines after they have lapsed, must have a course of TWO injections before they are considered fully vaccinated. The second injection is given up to 4 weeks after the first.
If you are unsure about your dog’s vaccines please contact your vet as soon as possible, taking this form with you.
We cannot board any unvaccinated dog and although we realise this would cause major inconvenience to customers, it must be understood that this is part of our licence requirements, as well as for the safety of the other boarders.
Please ensure that you bring your up to date vaccination card with you when you drop off your dog for boarding. We must keep records of all vaccinations as part of our licence requirements.
